She is the one who broke the royals’ silence on the Markle family play in the days after Meghan  with Prince Harry’s wedding, and a new report claims there was more feuding behind closed doors between Camilla and her fresh stepdaughter-in-law.

While Camilla and her husband Prince Charles put on a happy front as they glossed over the chaos which had seen Meghan’s dad Thomas Markle pull from their wedding only days earlier, insiders say the entire debacle just saw the Duchess of Cornwall become convinced that the celebrity wasn’t suitable for the family.

According to New Idea, a string of arguments between Camilla, Harry and Meghan prior to the marriage saw the prior Suits star made to hit back at criticisms she wasn’t good enough.

“[Camilla’s] always had her reservations about Meghan marrying into the royal family, believing she wasn’t’regal enough’ for Harry and did whatever she could to talk him from going through with the marriage,” an unnamed source told the publication.

“It only strengthened her belief that Meghan didn’t belong into the palace and her trailer-park loved ones were bringing the entire monarchy into disrepute.”

Meghan was seen standing side-by-side with Camilla throughout a royal event just days after the wedding since the recently titled Duchess of Sussex, in what is guaranteed to be the first of many excursions.

“Camilla has backed down since Meghan made a stand,” the source told New Idea.

Between Meghan’s half sister Samantha, half brother Thomas Jnr, and father Thomas Snr, the Markles were barely able to maintain themselves from the spotlight at the lead up to the royal marriage.

Samantha, who changed her surname from Grant back to Markle, regularly took tv interviews where she blasted her famous sibling and disclosed that she had ignored a palace press prohibit because no one could infringe on her right to free speech.

Meanwhile, the Thomas Jnr made headlines to an open letter which warned Harry against marrying Meghan, and Thomas Snr could not make up his mind about whether he would or would not attend the wedding, until heart surgery put it out of the question.
